| The Next Big Thing |
Since the early days back in our North Monroe Street office, Mike Gorman has been an important part of Square One. As a designer and then a partner, his cerebral approach and creative insights have helped shape our thinking and meet our clients’ challenges with wisdom and clarity. At the end of November, Mike will be moving on to pursue his Next Big Thing. While we’ll miss him personally and professionally, we’re excited to see what this next chapter brings for both of us, as we both find fresh opportunities to cross paths and share ideas with other people. Please join us in wishing Mike and his family well. |

| MADE IN GR |
Just in case you missed this product featured recently on Design Sponge, check out this wooden whale from a Grand Rapids company! The whale desk organizer is made by The Utility Collective from reclaimed Michigan pine and redwood. These are great for your workspace at home or the office and would make a fantastic gift for the holidays. |

| Rally to Restore Sanity |
Jon Stewart asks political rallyers to "take it down a notch...for America" and announces his Rally to Restore Sanity on October 30th in Washington D.C.
It, of course, coincides with Steven Colbert's own Rally to Keep Fear Alive. Can't get enough of those two! |

| Nama Rococo Wallpaper |
This wallpaper studio out of North Adams, Massachusetts makes amazing hand-painted and hand-printed papers. Founder Karen Combs is an Indiana native (me too!) with a background in art history and printmaking. Their designs are playful, colorful interpretations of classic motifs. They also have an adorable web site. |
