To compete with larger healthcare providers, Brookville Pediatric + Internal Medicine wanted to communicate the benefits of its small, human-centered practice through a new visual brand. We designed an updated wordmark with a friendly, humanistic typeface and a straightforward tagline, along with a pattern of simple shapes that would appeal to both parents and children.
With new parents in mind, we simplified the experience of a newborn’s first appointment by designing a custom folder to organize and prioritize information from the doctor’s office. A bold design with a recognizable color and pattern makes the folder easy to find when parents need it most—usually in high-stress moments when a child is not feeling well. We applied the same visual standards to patient handouts, appointment cards, instruction pads, and magnets to convey Brookville’s personal approach and reinforce its position as a trustworthy and organized resource for parents.
