New Buffalo Explored created a lushly visual, editorial-style website to promote travel and tourism in their lakefront communities, but they needed support to drive traffic and build brand awareness.
Square One developed a campaign of print and digital tools to inspire site visits and reinforce NBX as a portal to the ideal Michigan experience. A series of large-format periodicals created a visual teaser for the website. A smaller referral card, used at local shops, underscores the sense of meaningful, memorable experiences offered in the area. And a Chicago bus shelter campaign was introduced to communicate the vastly different view of Lake Michigan that can be found in New Buffalo—just an hour from the city. We also extended the editorial approach and compelling photography by local resident Jodi Bodtke into a series of email newsletters to promote seasonal travel and highlight new content on the site.
